Ubuntu School, located in the heart of Zwide in Port Elizabeth, is a new primary school built for the nonprofit organisation Ubuntu Pathways and designed by the architects Local Studio .

The school is situated in an area underlain with deep clay with very low founding quality making the groundwork one of the main areas of focus on this project.

An alternative building technology walling system together with structural insulated panels for the roofs was chosen for a faster turnaround time than conventional construction techniques and materials.
